HARTSDALE, N.Y. - Rose Scuiletti Hicks of Hartsdale died Dec. 14. She was 93.
Hicks was born May 24, 1920, in Hartsdale, to Joseph and Josephine (Maccarella) Scuiletti. She was a dispatcher for Westside Taxi for many years until her retirement.
Hicks is survived by her children, William D Hicks and Carol (Eric) Lauers both of Hartsdale; a grandson; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Markowitz of West Harrison and Mary Dipietro of Providence R.I.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters; and four brothers.
Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 16 from 5 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 at Sacred Heart Church Hartsdale. Interment to follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla.
