Rosemarie I. Amico, 85, Of Ardsley

ARDSLEY, N.Y. - Rosemarie I. Amico of Ardsley died April 28. She was 85.

Amico was born in Brooklyn, and was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Motto. She was raised in Brooklyn and employed at Hanover Bank on Wall Street in New York City from 1945 to 1953. She also worked at Williamsburg Savings Bank before becoming a secretary for Clearview School in Scarborough. She was a member of the Ardsley Garden Club.

Amico is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Jonathan) Tortelli; two grandchildren; sister, Marie Cioffi; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Louis; son, Robert; and sister, Rita Aspromonte.

Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, May 2 at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Ardsley.

Memorial contributions may be made in Amico's name to Clearview School, Scarborough.
