HARTSDALE, N.Y. — Hartsdale resident Saranne Chayefsky died Wednesday, May 4. She was 92.
She was born Feb. 13, 1924, to Louis and Pearl Cohen,
Chayefsky is survived by her, daughters, Helen Chayefsky and Laurie Keenan and husband Charles; grandson Aaron Keenan and his wife Deborah; granddaughter Meryl Bash and her husband Kirill; grandson Matthew Keenan and his wife Anne; and great-grandchildren Wesley, Paxton, Samuel and Holden.
She was predeceased by husband, William Chayefsky; her parents; and siblings Estelle Silverstone and Horace Cohen.
The funeral was Friday, May 6, at Zion Memorial Chapel, 785 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. Interment was at Sharon Gardens Cemetery.
