HARTSDALE, N.Y. – Sergio Foresti of Hartsdale died July 13. He was 83.
Born in Castro, Bergamo, Italy, Foresti and his wife, Renata, lived in Hartsdale for many years.
He is survived by his wife Renata; two sons, Robert (Janet) Foresti and Steven (Statia) Foresti; a sister, Attilia Taccolini; a brother, Renzo Foresti; and three grandchildren. Foresti was predeceased by a sister, Silvia Bendotti; and a brother, Alfio Foresti.
Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home in Dobbs Ferry. A Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Ardsley. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne
