William Goodwin, 62, Of Ardsley, Professor, Manhattan College

ARDSLEY, N.Y. - William Goodwin of Ardsley died July 9. He was 62.

Goodwin graduated from Lehigh University with honors in 1973 and received his M.B.A. from there in 1974. He was an investment professional at the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York (MONY) and its successor companies for over 30 years. Attaining the level of Senior Vice President, he was in charge of a multi-billion dollar portfolio of Private and Public fixed income securities, venture capital investments and agricultural loans.

After retiring from AXA Equitable, he was an adjunct professor in the school of business at Manhattan College.

Goodwin is survived by his wife, Debbie; son, Matthew; sister, Rita; brother Paul (Diane); and a niece and nephew.

There will be a memorial gathering at his home, 152 Heatherdell Road, Ardsley, Friday, July 12 from 3 to 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 535 Ashford Ave., Ardsley.
