GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Police and firefighters were called to the Greenburgh Public Library on Friday after a car drove into its lobby

No one was reported hurt during the early afternoon accident. The cause is under investigation, but slippery conditions in the parking lot off of 300 Tarrytown Road may have been a factor, police said.

Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner said, "We are going to order concrete bollards (barriers) to prevent this from occurring in the future."

State legislators were holding a meeting on the state budget at the time of the crash. Assemblyman David Buchwald, D-White Plains, posted a photo of the damage on his Twitter account, writing: "As I've received some inquiries while @GreenburghLib, everyone appears to be ok after a car crashed into the library."

Fairview firefighters were at the scene. No structural damage was identified upon the initial inspection by town officials.
