Cops: Larchmont Rabbi Arrested In Road Rage Incident

YONKERS, N.Y. -- A 49-year-old White Plains resident who is a rabbi of a congregation in Larchmont was arrested by the New York State Police in Hawthorne following an incident which occurred on the New York State Thruway in April, according to a New York State Police statement.

Alfredo Borodowski is accused of engaging in a road rage incident with two individuals and following them as they exited Interstate 87 also known as the New York State Thruway at Central Park Avenue in Yonkers.

He was also charged in June with impersonating an officer after a 24-year-old woman said he tried to pull her over on Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains.

Borowdowski allegedly pulled along side the motorists and flashed a police badge at the men who were stopped at a traffic light. One of the motorists videotaped the encounter on his cell phone.

Borodowski is charged with criminal Impersonation; a misdemeanor and processed at the State Police Barracks in Hawthorne.

He was released to his attorney and is due in Yonkers City Court on July 29.
