Crime Stoppers Offers Reward For Information In Infant's Death

ELMSFORD — Police in Rockland and Westchester counties are distributing reward fliers from the New York Crime Stoppers offering a reward for information in the death of an infant found in Elmsford last Tuesday.

The flier is printed in three languages to help in the investigation to locate the mother of a newborn baby boy whose body was put in a garbage dumpster in Spring Valley and discovered by workers at Brookfield Recycling Center last week.

The baby's body was left at the Maple Avenue Convenience Center near North Myrtle Avenue in Spring Valley, according to police.

Crime Stoppers is ask anyone with information to call its hotline at 866-313-TIPS (8477). The flier offers a reward of up to $2,500.
