ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- Police and paramedics from Elmsford and Greenburgh were called to the local post office on Thursday to assist a mall carrier.

Elmsford police say a mail carrier became dizzy about 11:45 a.m. and required medical attention.

The carrier was treated by Elmsford Volunteer Fire Department EMTs at the Elmsford post office on Main Street, and did not require hospitalization, police said.
