ELMSFORD, N.Y. – A former Elmsford police officer is facing shoplifting charges after allegedly taking more than $400 of groceries from a Greenburgh supermarket in October, according to LoHud.com.
Mark Danuff, 48, of Greenburgh left the Stop & Shop without paying for roughly $428 of groceries.
Danuff retired from the Elmsford Police Department in 2010, causing controversy over using accrued vacation and sick time to hit the levels needed for a full pension before retirement.
