GREENBURGH, N.Y. A lovers spat exploded into violence inside a Greenburgh Red Lobster last week, according to a police report.
Shetayia Blackwood, 23, of the Bronx, interrupted a family outing Monday, June 11, when she spotted her ex-boyfriend in the restaurant just before 7:30 p.m., the report said. Blackwood, angry she was dumped, threw a glass at the man, hitting him in the head, according to witness reports.
The fight then spilled into the parking lot, the report said, where Blackwood used her elbow to smash both side mirrors on the car the man was riding in before speeding off in her own car.
Blackwood was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and second-degree harassment, a violation, after she surrendered to police.
The following were also reported by Greenburgh Police:
- Grant Belton, 73, of White Plains, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree assault with intent to cause serious injury, both felonies, as well as fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, Thursday June 14 just after 1 p.m. Belton allegedly beat a woman with a broken chair leg and broke three separate phones, not allowing her to call for help, according to police.
- Jose Mendoz, 28, of White Plains, was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, following reports of a domestic incident Saturday, June 16 at 11:24 p.m.
- Frank Pass, 47, of Yonkers, and Solomon Sweringer, 45, of Mount Vernon, were charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor, after allegedly swiping gum, cough drops and crazy glue from a South Central Avenue 7-11 convenience store on Thursday, June 14 at 9:29 a.m.
