Greenburgh Police Arrest Man, 22, On Felony Burglary Charge

GREENBURGH, N.Y. - Following a lengthy investigation, police in Greenburgh have arrested a man from the Bronx, who now faces felony charges for burglary.

On Thursday, March 9, members of the Greenburgh Police Department’s Detective Division and investigators with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office executed a search warrant at an apartment on Fox Street in the Bronx, arresting Petrit Abazi, 22, on felony burglary charges.

According to police, the warrant was obtained as a result of an extensive investigation into a burglary that occurred in January in the Poets Corner neighborhood in Greenburgh.

Abazi was arraigned in the Greenburgh Justice Court and is currently remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
