Police pulled over David Reyes-Castillo, 57, of Yonkers, for allegedly failing to use his signal while pulling out of a parking lot at 399 Tarrytown Road, police said.

Police observed a small black and red package on the center dashboard of the vehicle that contained a white powdery substance, which was determined to be cocaine, police said.

A further search of the vehicle revealed four other black and red packages labeled "Bigelow family tea blenders pomegranate" on the dashboard as well as a box attached to the undercarriage of the vehicle that contained another five bags. The total amount of cocaine found in the vehicle was about 10 grams, police said.

Authorities subsequently arrested Reyes-Castillo and his passenger, Roberto Marrero, 49, of New York, and charged them with both with third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Marrero was found to also have a warrant out of the Dominican Republic for fraud. He is being held while authorities confirm extradition, police said.
