Greenburgh Police Charge Two Men In Robbery

GREENBURGH, N.Y. — Greenburgh Police reported Saturday that two men were arrested Friday and accused of assaulting and stealing cash from a 19-year-old man last week.

Marc Patino, 18, of Sleepy Hollow, and Christian Loja, 18, of Ossining, who were said to know the victim, were arrested six days later after an investigation. They were arraigned on a charge of first-degree robbery, a felony. 

The report said that on midnight Nov. 2, Patino, Loja and the victim were guests at a home on Payne Street.  Patino and Loja are accused of assaulting the 19-year-old, taking an undisclosed amount of cash and fleeing, according to Greenburgh police.

The victim was treated and has since been released from a local hospital.

A judge set bail on both men at $5,000. They are scheduled to appear before the Greenburgh Justice Court on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
