Greenburgh Police Stop Naked Man Mid-Stroll

GREENBURGH, N.Y. – A naked man was observed walking down the center of Maple Street last week, Greenburgh police reported.

On Friday morning, Aug. 24, the Greenburgh Police Department responded to the location and found an 18-year-old Greenburgh resident walking naked on Maple Street's double yellow line toward Warren Avenue. Officers asked the man to put his hands behind his back, which he allegedly ignored.

Police reported that the man appeared to be under the influence of a drug, noting that he had bloodshot and glassy eyes. When police approached him, trying to restrain his hands, he allegedly began flailing his arms, screaming and running.

Police officers were able to subdue him, and he was transported to the White Plains Emergency Room via ambulance.
