HARTSDALE, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a Hartsdale man on Tuesday with illegally collecting unemployment benefits , according to officials.
Nathaniel L. Fite, 44, was accused of collecting $5,400 of unemployment benefits between June and October of 2011 by generating false business records. Fite was employed at the time, police said.
He is scheduled to appear in White Plains Court on Friday, police said.
