Man, 24, Charged With DWI On Sprain Brook Parkway

HAWTHORNE, N.Y. -- New York State Police in Hawthorne arrested charged a man him with driving while intoxicated on Thursday, Feb. 27, according to police officials.

Mitchel J. Golden, 24, of Mahopac, was pulled over for allegedly speeding and moving from his lane unsafely on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh. Troopers suspected Golden of being intoxicated, though he refused to provide a breathalyzer sample, State Police said. 

Golden was charged with Driving While intoxicated and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is due to appear in court on Friday, March 14, according to State Police.
