Man, 33, Charged After Greenburgh Accident Investigation

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks charged a man with second-degree reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child following a multicar accident on the Sprain Brook Parkway on Sunday, according to officials.

Larry A. Burnham, 33, of the Bronx, was allegedly operating his vehicle in an erratic and reckless manner that created a substantial risk of serious injury to the occupants of the three vehicles he struck, police said. 

During the time of the collisions, there was a child under the age of 17 in the front passenger seat of Burnham’s vehicle. He is scheduled to appear in Greenburgh Town Court on Tuesday, Jan. 13, police said.
