Shortly after 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, New York State Police troopers stopped Manhattan resident Brian Wilson on the interstate for a speeding violation.
During the subsequent stop, troopers determined that Wilson was found to be in possession of more than two pounds of marijuana and a Vipertek electronic stun gun.
Wilson was arrested at the scene, transported to state police barracks in New Rochelle and charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, a misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a weapon and a vehicle and traffic violation. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Monday morning at the City of New Rochelle Court.
