Manhattan Man Charged In April Hastings Burglary

GREENBURGH, N.Y. – Greenburgh Police have arrested a man in connection with an April burglary in Hastings.

Jose A. Leguen, a 43-year-old Manhattan resident, was arrested Friday and charged with second degree burglary, a C felony, Greenburgh police said in a press release.

Greenburgh detectives, with help from the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office and Dobbs Ferry police, investigated the April 27 burglary as part of an investigation of a string of residential burglaries in the area. Leguen, along with Leopouldo Bello, a 38-year-old Manhattan resident, also was arrested May 3 in Dobbs Ferry after allegedly committing a burglary in that area.

Leguen was arraigned in Greenburgh Town Court and incarcerated at the Westchester County Jail, police said.
