SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Police are in hot pursuit of a man who robbed a bank near the Scarsdale train station Saturday morning.
The man reportedly fled on foot after the robbery at the Webster Bank on 17 Popham Road which occurred at approximately 11 a.m. when the man reportedly handed a note to a teller before fleeing with an unreported sum of money.
All area police departments have been asked to be on the lookout for the suspect, who is described as a white male in his 20s, approximately 6-foot-2, with a beard. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, sunglasses and a baseball cap.
Bloodhound dogs are also being used in the search.
