RYE, N.Y. – A 17-year-old teenage girl has gone missing, the City of Rye Police Department announced Tuesday via a Nixle alert. Jacqueline Socarides was described in the alert as 5'6" tall with brown eyes and blond hair with pink and lavender streaks.

Police also said Socarides has contacts in the metropolitan area and is believed to be in a "fragile emotional state."

Socarides is the second Rye teenager to go missing in the past 30 days, as Rye teenager Pierce Crowley went missing for more than six days in late May but was found safe.

Police have requested that if you or anyone has any information regarding her whereabouts, please contact the City of Rye Police Department at (914) 967-1234 or email.
