The latest robbery took place at 10 a.m. at the Chase Bank branch in Orange County. Police said the suspect walked into the bank and passed the teller a note demanding money and that he had a gun, said News 12.

The suspect, described as a white male in his 20s, weighing around 180 pounds and wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses, khaki pants and a black long-sleeve shirt, has similarities to the suspects from other recent robberies throughout the Hudson Valley, added News 12.

Similar incidents were reported last month when the M&T Bank in the Town of Wawayanda was robbed, as well as the Chase Bank in Garnerville and a TD Bank in Fishkill. In all three cases the suspect, whose description closely matched the latest suspect, entered the bank, passed the teller a note demanding cash, and left on foot without displaying a weapon.

State Police officials said they are working with local police, but could not comment further.
