Two Arrested In Greenburgh Car Break-In; Third Suspect Sought

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Two suspects are under arrest, and one is still at large, in a car burglary earlier this week, Greenburgh Police said.

An off-duty officer came upon three men breaking into a car in the Beaver Hill section of town around 3 a.m. on Tuesday, police said.

After calling for assistance, the officer and others chased two of the suspects down. The third got away.

Arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, were Troy G. Johnson and Kahlid Anderson, both of the Bronx, police said.

They were sent to Westchester County Jail.

Items stolen in that, and several other break-ins, were recovered, authorities said.
