RYE, N.Y. – Jacqueline Socarides, the 17-year-old missing Rye girl, was found Tuesday evening, Rye Police said.  A missing person alert was called off, police told residents through another alert.

Rye Police told the public that Socarides, described as 5'6" tall with brown eyes and blond hair with pink and lavender streaks, had gone missing and was believed to be in a "fragile emotional state."

Police did not provide details about where Socarides was found or her condition.

Socarides had been the second Rye teenager to disappear in the past 30 days, as Rye teenager Pierce Crowley went missing for more than six days in late May. He was found safe in New York City.
