White Plains Police Officer Dragged After Being Hit By Car

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A driver accused of being under the influence of drugs was arrested Sunday after a White Plains police officer was dragged about 100 feet, according to lohud.com.

The officer, whose name was not released, sustained minor injuries and was later released from White Plains Hospital, lohud.com reported.

Nino Valvano, 38, of Mount Kisco, was arrested and charged with a number of crimes, including two felony counts of second-degree assault, two counts of driving while intoxicated, and possession of cocaine, according to lohud.com.
