Troopers stopped 35-year-old Catherine Giuliano on the Sprain on Monday. Following an investigation, Giuliano was found to be operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs, state police said.

She was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree (a Class E felony) and operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs (a misdemeanor).

Giuliano was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree when a license check revealed that her driving privileges were revoked due to a previous DWI related arrest.

A State Police Drug Recognition Expert was used to confirm Giuliano’s impairment, state police said.

Giuliano is scheduled to appear in the Town of Greenburgh Court on July 7.
