Feiner, Beville Sweep To Greenburgh Democrat Primary Victories

GREENBURGH, N.Y. - Incumbent Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner and incumbent Town Clerk Judith Beville rushed to easy victories Tuesday in the Democratic Party primary.

According to the Westchester County Board of Elections, Feiner led Hartsdale attorney Bob Bernstein 3,431-1,862 with 93 percent of the vote counted as of 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Beville, who is running for her fourth term in office, led challenger Sherron Brunson Fantauzzi 3,631-1,607 for the Town Clerk nomination with 76 of the 81 election districts reporting.

Bernstein and Fantauzzi both received the endorsement of the Greenburgh Democratic Party

Feiner, who ran unopposed in the 2011 primary and general elections to win his 11th term, will run on the Democratic Party and Working Families lines in the November election. The Republicans did not offer a candidate.

Official election results will be compiled and made available by the Westchester County Board of Elections in accordance with Section 9-214 of the New York State Election Law no later than 25 days after the election.
