NORWALK, Conn. - Walter M. Wilson of Norwalk died Thursday, April 11. He was 50.
Wilson was born in Norwalk May 20, 1962, son of Angela Smith Wilson of Norwalk and Walter H. Wilson. He was a 1984 graduate of UCONN where he received his B.S. in Finance and went on to receive his Masters in Library Science from Southern Conn. State College. He was employed with H.J. Baker & Brother, Westport in the accounts receivable department. He was also the former co-owner and manager of Fairfield Coin & Collectibles.
Wilson is survived by his mother; children, Matthew and Emily Wilson of Fairfield; sisters, Susan Sierman (Richard) Mahoney of Norwalk, and Lori Canal (Robert “Boots”) Fahey of Ridgefield; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father; children, Katherine and Timothy Wilson.
Calling hours are Tuesday, April 16 from 5 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk until services begin. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 16, 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
