The 12-year-old girl reported as missing from her Middletown home was found safe on Friday, August 19, police say.

A 12-year-old girl from Middletown has gone missing, police say.
The girl was last seen leaving her home on foot on Thursday, August 18, according to Middletown Borough police.
No name of the girl was released.
She is described as a light-skinned Black female, with pigtails, and pierced ears (but no current piercings), according to a release by the police. She was last seen wearing a tie-dyed short sleeve shirt with a hood, and leggings/spandex shorts.
"The child is not believed to be in any immediate danger," police say.
Authorities are classifying this as a runaway situation.
