Ardsley School District Hires New Assistant Superintendent For Business

ARDSLEY, N.Y. -- Kelly E. Seibert has been appointed assistant superintendent for business, facilities and operations for the Ardsley Union Free School District.

Kelly Seibert has been appointed assistant superintendent of business at the Ardsley Union Free School District. Seibert held a similar business post at the Ramapo Central School District and began his finance career with Dutchess County BOCES.

Seibert's hiring recently was approved by the Ardsley Board of Education effective Dec. 9.

He has held a similar post the past four years at the Ramapo Central School District.

Seibert began his finance career in 2007 at the Dutchess County Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES). 

He currently is president of the Lower Hudson Chapter of the New York State Association of School Business Officials.

In a press statement, Lauren Allan, superintendent of Ardsley Union Free School District, said, “I am very pleased with the outcome of our search and am confident that Kelly will successfully support our district in meeting its financial goals."

Allan added, “His experience and background in managing district budgets, executing financial strategies, negotiating contracts and managing all business functions will be an asset to our organization."

Seibert holds a master's degree in business administration from Western New England University, a Certificate of Advanced Studies in School Business Administration from SUNY New Paltz, as well as a bachelor of science degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Joanne Sold, president of the Ardsley Board of Education, said, “From a large pool of applicants, we felt that Kelly was the best candidate to lead our business office and maintain our high levels of strong fiscal responsibility."
