The BioBus visited the school last Friday thanks to Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, as part of its Day For Doing Good service initiative.

The mobile bus is equipped with a high-powered microscope and staffed by scientists. Students experienced hands-on, standards-aligned lab sessions, which were offered throughout the morning.

Students in the fifth and sixth grades had an opportunity to work with volunteers from Junior Achievement, an organization that inspires and prepares young people to succeed in the global economy, as well as Regeneron volunteers.

Students created posters and played games offering practical information about the many businesses that provide career opportunities for qualified workers, including those in the Elmsford community.
