Ninth-grader and concert coordinator Nicholas Kim organized the event that included classically trained students Jason Lei, Michael Tong, Benjamin Ryjikov, Hannah Ryjikov, Berber Jin, Justin Lue, Peifang Wang, Tasha Jhangiani, Joshua Sun, Sara Hwong, Bianca Kratky and Tim Hu. "This concert will serve as an opportunity for classical musicians at Edgemont High School to showcase their pieces in front of an audience, an aspect of music often taken for granted, while supporting a good cause," Kim said prior to the event.  "I felt that it would be an organization that I could eventually volunteer at when I am older."
