ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- Duane Christian withdrew his candidacy for trustee of the Elmsford Union Free School District Board of Education on Monday.
As official ballots have been printed, Christian’s name will appear on the ballot; however, he is no longer a candidate for trustee. The two candidates for two open seats are Ted Thomasa and Marla Peers.
The 2016-17 budget and Board of Education election will take place Tuesday at Alice E. Grady Elementary School. This year's proposed budget supports 100 percent of the school district's student programming and is within the tax cap.
