ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- Two Elmsford schools will host spring musicals on back-to-back weekends later this month. 

Students at Alice E. Grady Elementary School will perform "Beauty and the Beast" as this year's school play. The performance will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 20 in the Grady auditorium. Tickets are $2 for children and Seniors and $5 for adults. Children 2 and under are admitted free.

Alexander Hamilton High School students will then perform "All Shook Up" on the following weekend. The Elvis-themed play includes performances at 7 p.m. Friday, March 28 and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, March 29 in the AHHS auditorium. Tickets for students are $7 pre-sale and $9 at the door, adults are $10 pre-sale and $12 at the door. All proceeds benefit the AHHS performing arts department.

After being told years ago when my children attended the Elmsford school system that the district was "Too small" to send a reporter - that no one cared what was happening - it is SO nice to see the kids efforts being recognized. Thank You Thank You!!
