ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- Voters approved the Elmsford Union Free School District Budget for the 2016-17 school year on Tuesday.
District residents approved the budget by a 254-106 margin.
"Congratulations to all," Elmsford Schools Superintendent Joseph Ricca said in a statement. "It takes an entire educational community to create and promote a high quality proposed district budget. We are grateful to all that took the time to attend meetings; distribute information; hold focus group meetings; and organize community gatherings."
Voters also approved the establishment of a capital reserve by a 262-83 margin.
Ted Thomas and Marla Peers were also elected to the Board of Trustees.
