ELMSFORD, N.Y. - Elmsford residents voted 236-210 to reject the proposed budget for the 2013-2014 school year Tuesday.
The proposed budget of $31,343,135 was up from the 2012-13 budget of $30,286,846 at an increase of 3.49 percent.
Matthew RC Evans and Ted Thomas led a field of five candidates to win the two open seats on the Elmsford School Board.
