Greenburghs Woodlands Hosts Parent Workshops

GREENBURGH, N.Y. – A workshop to inform parents of Woodlands Middle/High School students about Advanced Placement courses, International Baccalaureate, Math and Woodlands Individualized Senior Experience will be held at the school on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m.

Light refreshments will be served at 6 p.m., followed by two sessions:

Session 1 workshop choices from 6:15-7 p.m. are:

IB (International Baccalaureate) -- what does that really mean?
AP (Advanced Placement) Classes at Woodlands High School.
Math has changed for prekindergarten to eighth grade. Everything you want to know, but are afraid to ask.

Break from 7-7:15 p.m. Session 2 workshop choices from 7:15-8 p.m. are:

WISE (Woodlands Individualized Senior Experience).
Math has changed for prekindergarten to eighth grade. Everything you want to know, but are afraid to ask.
A Parent’s Guide to High School Mathematics.

Spanish translation and child care will be provided.
