Greenburgh’s Woodlands Hosts Parent Workshops

GREENBURGH, N.Y. – A workshop to inform parents of Woodlands Middle/High School students about Advanced Placement courses, International Baccalaureate, Math and Woodlands Individualized Senior Experience will be held at the school on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m.

Light refreshments will be served at 6 p.m., followed by two sessions:

Session 1 workshop choices from 6:15-7 p.m. are:

  • IB (International Baccalaureate) -- what does that really mean? 
  • AP (Advanced Placement) Classes at Woodlands High School.
  • Math has changed for prekindergarten to eighth grade. Everything you want to know, but are afraid to ask.

Break from 7-7:15 p.m. Session 2 workshop choices from 7:15-8 p.m. are:

  • WISE (Woodlands Individualized Senior Experience).
  • Math has changed for prekindergarten to eighth grade. Everything you want to know, but are afraid to ask.
  • A Parent’s Guide to High School Mathematics. 

Spanish translation and child care will be provided.
