Greenburgh Schools Call All Foodies At Annual Charity Taste-Off

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Greenburgh residents looking to please their palate for a good cause are invited to join the Woodlands Falcons Nest Booster Club and the Woodlands High School and Middle School PTA at the 7th Annual Greenburgh Taste-Off on Saturday, April 29, at the schools' gymnasiums.

Held from noon to 3 p.m., the afternoon will feature booths from a variety of local restaurants. Visitors can sample foods and vote on their favorites in a variety of categories. Vendors include Acme Markets, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Bellesweets, Chef El-Main Caterers, Frank’s Food Court, Trader Joe’s, Rudy’s, Hurricane Grill and Wings, Hero’s Sports Bar and Grill, Pick and Roll Soul Restaurant, Jake’s Wayback Burgers and others. 

Also sponsoring booths will be a number of area service organization and companies, such as AFC Urgent Care, Affinity Health Care, David Lerner Associates, Fairview First Department, Fidelis Care, G.O.O.D. for Girls, Greenburgh Police Department, Hartsdale Fire Department, Party Line Tent Rental, Theodore D. Young Community Center and Union Baptist Church.

Additionally, a severalof school district staff will be honored, and a silent auction and penny social will be held.

Student tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Adult tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Advance tickets can be ordered here.
