GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- An intercultural initiative luncheon was held for Greenburgh students attending Woodlands High School, the Solomon Schechter School of Westchester and Maria Regina High School.
The purpose of the luncheon, which took place on Wednesday, was to build bridges and break down barriers that separate the backgrounds and religions of students. It was a celebration of differences and similarities.
Partnering with their neighboring schools allowed students and teachers to share information about their faith, traditions and experiences.
The program concluded with a kosher luncheon provided by Solomon Schechter.
