The students were divided up into sections and spread out, playing different games. On the stage, girls took turns hula-hooping, while a group of students hopped onto the rock-climbing wall and tried not to fall off.

Pair after pair ran through the obstacle course; others played with balls or skipped ropes. Some of the other activities included rope-climbing and paddle ball games.

Jump Rope for Heart is a longtime tradition at Kensico. The physical education staff works together to teach students about heart health and the importance of movement. The event is a celebration of movement and allows the students to enjoy their favorite activities.

Students in each grade remained active for an hour; the third- and fourth-graders each spent time in the gym in the morning, while the fifth-grade class had some exercise fun in the afternoon.
