GREENBURGH, N.Y. — The Greenburgh school district has reached an agreement with its teachers union, which has been without a contract for nearly four years, The Journal News is reporting.
According to the newspaper, the terms of the new contract do not provide for an increase in the salary schedule for the first three years of the deal and half-percent increases this year and next. The agreement is retroactive to July 1, 2009.

The quality of the Daily Voice that I have always admired is its ability to do your own reporting, even as a small, young online publication. So I have to say that I am disappointed that the primary source of this piece is The Journal News?! And no follow up nearly a day afterward? What is going on, DV?
