State Sen. George Latimer Meets With Students At Berkeley College

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- State Sen. George Latimer recently visited Berkeley College in White Plains met with students and college administrators at the campus.

Latimer, who represents the 37th District, visited the school to see what's happening on the campus and how students are learning and succeeding.

 “I couldn’t be more complimentary about your mission and what you’re doing at Berkeley College,” Latimer said, during his discussion with students, “Education is the path for all of us.” 

Students and staff he met with included Gbubemi Okotieuro, Berkeley College vice president of government relations; Kevin Luing, Berkeley College chairman; Dallas Reed, Berkeley College vice president, Student Development and Campus Life; student-veteran Jorge Morale, marketing communications major; student Rebecca Aguilera, marketing communications major; Senator Latimer; student Hailey Farle, fashion merchandising and management major; student Jennifer Schalle, accounting major; Ted Havelka, Berkeley College Campus operating officer, White Plains, and Michael J. Smith, Berkeley College president.

Latimer's district includes Yonkers, White Plains, New Rochelle, Rye, represents Harrison, Mamaroneck,North Castle, Rye, Bedford, and Eastchester.
