Valhalla High School's Kyra Hickey Wins Metro Youth Theater Award

VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Valhalla High School's Kyra Hickey won a Metropolitan Youth Theater Award for "Best Featured Ensemble Member" on Monday, June 6.

Five Valhalla High School students were nominated in six categories for Metropolitan Youth Theater Awards.

Five Valhalla students were nominated in six categories. Kyra was also nominated for "Best Student Choreographer."

The Metro Awards took place at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains. The annual ceremony honors the work of students who participated in their school's spring musical.

Valhalla High School's spring musical was "Godspell."

The following Valhalla students also received nominations:

Jessica Beitscher: Vocal Performance Female
Jared Lombardi: Acting Performance Male
Chloe Oshanani: Student Director (technical merit)
Anthony Starvaggi: Student Stage Manager (technical merit)
