Woodlands Thespians Preview Upcoming Production For Greenburgh Students

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Woodlands High School and Middle School cast members of "Into the Woods," which takes to the stage this week, spent last week touring Greenburgh's elementary schools to give enthusiastic younger students a sneak peek at the production.

Led by director Nicole Masi, the cast members performed a variety of Stephen Sondheim's beautiful numbers for students. The fairy tale musical features characters taken from stories like Jack in the Beanstalk, Cinderella and Rapunzel. Shows are on Thursday, April 14, at 7 p.m. with an open rehearsal and a free show for senior citizens.

Additional shows will be held on Friday, April 15, at 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, April 16 and 17, both at 3 p.m. Tickets, sold at the door, are $5 for students and $10 for adults.
