Alexander Hamilton High Grad Robinson Earns Spot On Skyline Honor Roll

ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- SUNY Old Westbury women's basketball guard Jasmine Robinson, a graduate of Alexander Hamilton High School in Elmsford, was named to the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll after leading the Panthers to a 3-0 week.

The junior earned a spot on the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll for games played Dec. 7-13, announced by league officials recently. 

The weekly honor was Robinson's third of her career. 

Robinson, a native of Greenburgh, averaged 20.7 points, 5.0 steals, 3.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds game in three games played last week. She led Old Westbury to a 71-66 road win at Mount St. Mary (Dec. 8) with game highs of 24 points (9-of-18 FG, 5-of-6 FT) and eight steals. 

Robinson followed with 17 points, (7-of-12 FG, 3-of-4 3FG), three steals, three rebounds and one block in the 80-47 win at Yeshiva (Dec. 10). 

She closed out the week with game highs of 21 points (9-of-21 FG) and four steals in addition to contributing five rebounds and four steals to the 66-63 victory over Mount St. Vincent (Dec. 12). 

On the season, Robinson is averaging a team-leading 16.0 points and 4.3 steals while contributing 2.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 24.4 minutes per game. She is also shooting 39.5 percent (35-of-114) from the field and 23.3 percent (7-of-30) from 3-point territory. 

Robinson ranks among the conference leaders in scoring (fourth), steals (first), assists (sixth), field goal percentage (10th) and three-point field goal percentage (10th).
