SOMERS, N.Y. -- Fullback Kevin Degnan rushed for a varsity-best 233 yards and three touchdowns as visiting Irvington ran over John F. Kennedy, 41-13, Saturday.
The Panthers gave rookie coach Mike Olivia his first win.
Degnan opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 55-yard rumble. Siggy Beredday added the first of his five extra points.
Hunter Gizzi and Dillon DArrigo gave the Panthers a 21-0 lead going into halftime. Gizzi scampered 22 yards for a score and DArrigo had a 5-yard touchdown run. Chris DiNardo had a team-leading seven tackles, Gizzi had six and Sam Kanusher collected five tackles. Shoran Tamura had an interception and an 80-yard kick-off return for a score.
