DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Dobbs Ferry High School football team and cheerleaders took some time from their preparations for this Sunday’s state title football game to pay a surprise visit to some of their younger fans at the village’s Springhurst School Wednesday.

The Section 1 and Southern New York State Regional champion Eagles (10-1) will be facing a team from Southwestern High School Sunday at the Syracuse University Carrier Dome at noon.

The Eagles were greeted by the full student body at the elementary school auditorium where the children showed their support and presented the team with a “Good Luck Eagles” banner made of individual artwork.
