SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. – Edgemont’s boys lacrosse team did not score a goal in the fourth quarter against Sleepy Hollow on Wednesday but the Panthers held on for a 7-6 win against the Horsemen.
Edgemont led, 7-4, heading into the fourth quarter and the Horsemen scored twice to cut the deficit to one. Trevor Ortega finished with 15 saves for the Panthers in the narrow win.
Sleepy Hollow’s Frank Curanaj led all scorers with four goals. Jared Simon led Edgemont with three goals and two assists.
