Edgemont Lacrosse Wins Final Two Games of Season

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Edgemont lacrosse coach Mark Gryzlo said last week that it was vital for his team to win its last two games of the season. They did just that with two nail-biters in consecutive days.

The Panthers defeated Sleepy Hollow, 12-11, on Saturday after they trailed 8-6 heading into the fourth quarter. Edgemont rallied with five goals in the final quarter to edge out the Horsemen for the win.

Edgemont and Hastings were knotted up at 10 headed into the fourth quarter on Sunday, but the Panthers outscored the Yellow Jackets, 4-2, in the fourth for a 14-12 win.
